The Live Action Film "5 Centimeters Per Second" will appear officially as an Open Cinema film at the 30th BUSAN International Film Festival in Busan, Korea.

The BUSAN International Film Festival is a well-known festival showcasing noteworthy films from Asia.
The Open Cinema is the showcase event of the festival, screening popular and artistically meritorious films as well as those that receive international acclaim. It is held in the Busan Cinema Center, the festival's main venue featuring an outdoor screen capable of seating 5000 people, the largest in Busan.

This will be the film's first showing outside of Japan and will serve as its international premiere.
