The live action film "5 Centimeters per Second" receives a new poster visual.

On a moonlit night with light from buildings and street lamps, Takaki Tono (Hokuto Matsumura) and Akari Shinohara (Mitsuki Takahata) each gaze off at something.
As they look off in different directions, Takaki is thinking of the past and the sentiment "Someday, somewhere, I'll find her," while Akari is keeping her memories with her while living in the present, her thoughts of "Always, somewhere, he's out there." The visual creates the contrast between the two.

Between the two is the thing that could be called the starting point of their memories--the unforgettable memory of the promise they made together under that snowy cherry tree.

Posters and flyers will be given out in theaters nationwide starting 22 August.
Theatrical release date is set for October 10th, 2025 (Friday).
